Like it says. I am looking for a set of Black Leather seats for a 02+ GTI. I have these for trade plus cash or just cash for your seats...

im interested. i have blk leather seats in great condition. no rips or scratches. when i have a chance to get some batteries for my camera, i'll post em.

I have tan in my other car and on a whim swapped them in to the Silver o4. I didn't really care for it. Thank you though..

no. i have work that day. i could only trade off one day for dec. and i have that day saved for lon's party :tup2:
however. i do have mondays and tuesdays off. :o

oh, this question came to mind earlier. i have seat warmers, so how does this effect the seat swapping?

I believe the seat warmers are another connector and that connector would just be left unplugged. Your car is an 01 right.. I'm going to look this up to be sure.. Anyone's feedback would help also..

heh, seems like this little swap involves a bit of research.. lol

here are the things i thought about.
- reconnecting airbags on the front seats
- reconnecting seat warmers (you mentioned cloth heated seats)

i am avaliable to do the swaping on mondays or tuesdays of NEXT week (11/28).

From what i have read we're in kind of a pickle. We have different connectors for the seats. So we asre going to have to cut and splice them in... The good news is that you can use mine and i can use yours.. Atleast i think so... I was saying about the heated cloth seats that you can hook up heat to them. The cloths i have are not heated..

guys, you could go the lazy way and cut and splice or you can remove your seat covers and swap the correct harness to the correct seat......the connector to the seat airbag is the same on both, its the connector that goes under the seat thats different------it will take about an hour removing and applying the seat covers----thats if you wanna do it that way-----01 seats dont have the square bolster, right?

keep us updated if you do the junkyard thing. I'd like to find a black leather set too to swap for my grey. I'm interested to see if GTI seats are readily available at junkyards and how much they go for.

I heard FAST is way overpriced. Are they asking $750?

If FAST has a set for $750, I'd pay that then recoup as much as I could for my grey set. Maybe I'll call them after the holidays. Thanks for the info. The pic of that set on ebay makes me drool but $1399 is crazy...
