“Stop throwing the Constitution in my face,” Bush screamed back. “It’s just a goddamned piece of paper!”

Confirmed by several people in the oval office at the time along with this one........

“I don’t give a goddamn,” Bush retorted. “I’m the President and the Commander-in-Chief. Do it my way.”

I never liked this moron from day one....................thankfully, he can't be re-elected, unless he sees fit to change that too...............

here is the article

Yeah.. One only needs to listen/watch the numerous right wing folks to really feel the LOVE;)

I'll take the article with a grain of salt, but GW's arrogance, and self rightousness coupled with his ease to lose his temper lead me to believe there could be some truth to this.

translation, you want to believe anything that goes against this president (We get it, you hate him.) and this country. You cant help but be you. We all get it.

I forgot to add............................
IF its true

But I agree with Mr. wrong, with his stupidity and arogance, its entirely plausible......................

Besides, with how well his cabinet has treated journalists as of late, it wouldn't be wise to be posting things that weren't somewhat true

because god forbid that the journalists print anything thats TRUE. Thanks for the insight. Well, we aleady known it, you've just admitted to it.

The very fact that you rely on party derived labels such as the "You hate Bush, you hate freedom, God, and country" belittles your position. It tells me you think and speak according to the political soundbites generated in the collective noise.

All I said is that based on GW's past behavior around the media, is that it MIGHT be true. MIGHT. I'll wait and see what pans out, which will be nothing. At least I can make the distinction.

The fact that you can't see this is unfortunate, for yourself.

But I guess it's hard to see anything when you have your head buried between the legs of the GOP.

I'm surprised you didn't trot out "Koolaid", "you hate our troops!" or "angry left" . The thread is still young though.

Pretty ironic, since you beleived anything negative about Kerry regardless of the source. (and yes I know "the election's over you lost get over it" (figured, I save you the trouble))

I dislike Bush because I love my country. But I guess that's too much for you to phathom as well..

God is spelled with a capitol "G". What kind of Republican are you? Clearly a God hating one.. (wink)

This story was proven to be false right when it broke. Unreliable source, pure BS.

Not that it matters. The entire Federal Government is corrupt, a group of self-serving elitists using their endless power to rape ordinary citizens of tax money to further their very successful efforts at global domination, absolute power, whatever.

I'm glad to live even further away from DC now; until the day I die I will hold absolute, infinite contempt and hatred for the Federal Government and those in control. Its too big, too scary, too controlling, and far too evil.

Well If its proven B.S. then thats not right either, the press is supposed to be an unbiased source reporting facts................................ :ha:

I agree with your statement on the government getting to large and corrupt, I think thats all government nowadays..................It has spread like a cancer and at this point I feel can not be undone. All you can do is speak your mind and vote for the lesser of the two evils.

Careful, there's some here who will accuse you of hating your country because of statements even remotely critical of the Bush Admin, and our government as a whole.;)

Taken from my own experience. (see above a few posts).
