i consider it a steal for $38k .... consider that its a 300hp AWD Volvo that has xenon ... suede seats ... active suspension ... tuned suspension ... brembo R brakes ... 18" wheels
there's a lot to this car ... consider a Audi S4 is $48k ... BMW M3 is $55k ...

I really want a V50 T5 AWD... but they are $38K loaded... hmmm, maybe I should look into the V70R...

I know!!! That REALLY bugs me. The dash package is SO bland on the s40/v50, its a shame. For 38k you could easily spend another 2k for a v70R.
Sometimes I really wonder whats going through VNA's mind right now...

What sucks though is that I don't really like the way the V70 looks... it's too square or something. I really prefer the new V50.
We will see, I've still got like 3 months until I am really going to buy something. I'm looking at the V50, WRX wagon, IS300 sportback, B7 A4 wagon and the new Pathfinder. I still need to drive them all first. :)

What? Another car? You gotta be kidding me son.
I like this though.
The Volvo V70 R, unveiled at the 2002 Paris Motor Show, is packaged with the most powerful engine in the Volvo range. Volvo's newly developed five-cylinder 2.5-liter in-line turbocharged power plant produces 300 horsepower and 295 ft. lbs. of torque between 1.950 and 5,250 rpm.
