Being in the military I know a lot of my guys went home to visit family and loved ones this Christmas. I decided to stay back this year since I have a loving girlfriend with a great family, who have taken me into their home. But I'm here on X-mas eve sitting at my squadron guarding our Helicopters from the Canadians I guess. Just curious what everyone else is up to since I have 8 hours of this watch to kill.

An orgy of consumerism.
Followed by overeating.

I'm in Japan, and it's already christmas day here.
I was at the gun range today shooting for a couple of hours... in total we shot ~1200 rounds of 9mm, 1100 reloaded ;)

Well, this year has been another tuffy for us. But some good news, is the commissioner has awarded us custody of Joey (son's bestfriend) for Christmas. My youngest gets Christmas day with his dad so we just got finished with the unwrapping. We got the Nick and Joey digital cameras, miniature tripods and camera bags...they are headed to the gym right now to take pics/short films of themselves working out. (lol) The youngest got a device that records movies and takes pictures but it comes with software to edit movies etc. -not sure how to work it- maybe I should have just got him a digicam too....we'll see.
I made a bunch of mexican food and now we are in the aftermath glow right now....dodging cameras unsuccesfully and watching the picture wars begin. lol

Oh i'm so glad you guys got custody of him! Many congrats!!!
As for me right now, traditionally, my family celebrates on christmas eve, play games, get stuffed, and open presents at midnight.
This year however, I'm spending it with my aunt in NY. Today, we went to watch the Christmas Spectacular and after that we went to this place called China Grill (very very nice and extremely expensive place) and we exchanged gifts when we got home!

Wrenching on the GTI. No family here, Tracy's family is out of town, Carissa is at work. (She's working at Von's. Sucks to be her, lol.) We don't usually do anything until Christmas day anyway...
Hukkah sounds good. Need to bring ours out tonight after I'm done on the car.

lets see, i woke up today at 5:30, went with my dad down to san diego. he had work to do their, got back around 1ish. then he wanted me to wash his car (since he got it in the beginning of the month, so he wants to try to keep it clean), which took me about 2 hours since its soooo freakin huge. then i chilled with my gilfriend at her house, and ended up at my cousins house for dinner. (below is a pic of my dads car, this is not something u want to wash)
