I don't know very much about the specs, all I know is that there are tweeters in the dash, JL speakers in all four doors, a five channel amp, and a JL sub.... Oh and it sounds Freaking AWESOME!!!!!

The amp is kind of a no namer but its a Solid Audio 1200W 5ch (but was free to me so can't complain), JL VR5.25 componets (rear doors and dash), JL TR525 Coax's in the front doors, JL 12W3V2 in the rear. Im very pleased with it, everything is about as stealth as it gets

Nice Doug!! On a side note I keep thinking more and more about crossing over to an 850R soon!

I got smoked by one yesterday afternoon when I was in my 9-3 SE HOT and it really pissed me off!! LOL!!

LOL no kidding? thats hilarous. They are fun, no doubt about it. The best thing is, 85XR's are really becoming affordable in the last year or two.

Theres a red 850R by my house that they only want $5500 for and it has 70K on the clock. I may have to go down and take a look at it.

One of my SAAB buddies knows you pretty well it seems from Turbobricks. He goes by the name SPGDUDE now but he used to have a Volvo 780 Bertone and posted over there alot. His name is actually John from Wisconsin.

Well the dissappointment sets in.....started the car and it idled really iracdically and the owner assured me it was just in need of a tune up so I overlooked it. Got in and the interior was in fair shape and no visible tears or heavy wear on it. So onto the test drive......I have driven other 850R's and I know how they feel stock and this on was not on par.

Took off at a light and glanced in the rear view and noticed the white cloud behind me and found it odd. So next light I took off foot to the floor and the white cloud back again. This time I counted the 0-60 time and it labored in at a whopping 10 seocnds!! At that point the dash idiot light for what looked like temp started flashing. Took it back to where my car was and the guy mentions that he had taken it to his mechanic and he said it might have a blown head gasket!! DOH!! no he tells me!

Needless to say I had to walk away since I am not in the position to adopt another rebuild project at this point. Too bad though!!

ya I'd say run away from that thing as fast as possible. Unless you can get it for 2500... then if its nice otherwise I'd say get it. Then send me 2500 and I'll build you a motor like mine ;)

So talked to the guy again and he insists he will not take less than 5500 for it so I will pass for now. Too bad!!

I have issues with the people who run Solid Audio/Cutting Edge Audio

they pulled back my Amp and Sub after the European Car 1.8t Challenge because i was marketable :(

how can being on the cover not be marketable !!

Wow that is pretty shady of them to do that. Infact I didn't even know they could do that.

Sorry to hear that Lon. I got hooked up with it from my local shop, not solid audio direct.
