Well from what I have heard the Golf will be here this year but the GTI won't be here till 2006.

I didn't like the Golf V when I first saw it, but I've seen some pictures of modded GTIs that look awesome.

I still can't say I totally like it, its just so ... different.

But although I dislike each successive generation, the engines always get better ... I heard there'll be a 2.0L 16V turbo now !! :eek:

Plus TDI and whatever else, at least VW is doing great in the engine selection.

it says 2.5l inline five at like 130hp, and then 2.0l turbo at 200hp, and a tdi

boo no VR6 :mad: thats like VW signature motor

i'll admit that i hated the way the golf v looked in the begining, but it's grown on me. i've seen the rieger kit on it and other ones, and i think i could end up to be a sweet car. plus 200 hp 18t aint bad either. i also heard that they were coming out with 4-motion on it too. read about it in the news of vortex section.
