What a crummy Monday!

My 2 year old GTI decides to have a dead battery this morning at 10:18AM. I call VW Roadside and don't get jumped until 11:36AM. I get to the dealership in Encinitas, and they tell me the shuttle doesn't run to 52 (where I work). Had I known that, I would have gone to Metro. I had just assumed that dealerships get pissy when it's not "their" car being brought in for service.

I wound up renting a loaner. I must say I'm impressed with the MKV's 2.5l engine. Maybe I can get a test drive in a new GTI when I pick up my car.

To cut off any questions, I waited for VW Roadside so there's a paper trail if this battery thing becomes a habbit.

Anyone else have a crummy Monday?

No reason ... all week @ work should be busy though, six trials in four days, woohoo.

My Monday was grrrrr-eaat!!

Only had to put the smack down on two supervisors today, instead of the normal 4.

And since the network was down all day, there were no scathing email rebukes!

I paid $65 for a toe adjustment then went to PBoys and got denied on my free rotation becuase they were booked
