My first ticket.

So not too long ago, i do one of those patented rolling stops through a stop sign at about 11:30pm looking for the crown vic lights in my mirror. But much to my dismay apparently he was in a dodge durango, i get pulled over and proceed to get a ticket for rolling through the sign. So what i'm wondering is . . .
How do I handle this? Am I supposed to get something in the mail before my court date (Jan 31st)
And How much do you guys think i'm looking at??

price wise could get a little steep, they dont like the rolling at stop signs or red lights.. i got caught on one of those cameras in poway cost me like $430!! hope it isn't as bad for you.

If it really is your first ticket, you ought to be able to get it reduced or dismissed.
Call a traffic lawyer or the DA and make a deal.

red lights i hear are worse.

i fought my first ticket cuz i knew i was in the right...and won. i am hoping i am so lucky on this ticket. record wise...this would be my first ticket also. hoping for dismissal....if not....gonna be slightly peeved...especially since it happened on campus. :P

well, i KNOW first hand for both red lights and stop signs

red light was more by $65 (over $400 after traffic school fees)

heh, my girlfriend got her first ticket in the audi yesterday day for "speeding??" the flow of traffic seemed faster than 80 and cars were still passing her up. cop gave her a ticket for 80mph..

I drove, didnt just roll right through two stop signs, and then 200 feet down the street at a red light a cop pulled up next to me and asked why i didnt stop, we talked a little. he ended up telling me that each run stop sign run about $230 something, so i hope you dont get tagged with it. these stop signs were in a parking lot too, i never thought those really mattered, i guess i was wrong

so my ticket is gonna run me about 150, i checked the vehicle code and bail ammt on their website and for the code on my ticket and it had it listed as 35? wtf is that? is there something i dont know about? is it like a mechanic, 35 for the infraction and 115 for the labor of the officer writing me the ticket?
