I am new to the area and looking for groups that sanction HPDE events. I have been out w/ BMWCCA, Audi Club, and PCA where I used to live. I liked the way that these events were run. Does anyone have any input/experience w/ some of the other groups that run events around here. ie Speedtrial, Speedventures, VARA, others

Are their schools more like open lapping days? I know most of them have instruction available.

thanks

BMWCCA is fairly active in SD

for road course, you'll have to head up to LA area for that stuff

SpeedVentures, Redline, Racerfactory.com, couple others in SoCal that regularly setup events

Racer Factory, Speed Ventures and Redline are my top 3 choices Between even just those 3 you should be able to get alot of track dates.

Racer Factory in 2 weeks at Buttonwillow.

With the NASA HPDE program, you get almost as much track time as Racefactory with just as good of instructors. Ill be bringing a couple with me to the next RF event. (If Ican go, having cage issues.)

More track dates with NASA too. Just depends on what you want. Racerfactory tends to have smaller turnout which accounts for the added track time.
