$430.00 for Buttonwillow?!!!!!!!!!!
Do they bring you a Z8 to drive?!
wow, pretty pricey for one of the most inexpensive tracks I know of..................
Audi Club is there March 27 & 28 for $380.00 I think.

Yeah, saw that in Fahren Affairs. We're both BMWCCA members, but we only have one (running) bimmer at the moment. Besides the fact that it's pretty expensive, I'd hate for us to have to share the M3. ;)
Non-BMW car entries may be accepted at the discretion of the committee.
I figured the chances of getting the GTI in were pretty slim.

Dayum!
For $225 you can have 2 days of HPDE instruction at Willow Springs in 2 weeks.

Or, in March, you can do it at CA Speedway for $275.
Gotta love NASA.

I'm sure that a good chunk of the $430 goes into the club's coffers...

Actually the BMW club, barely breaks even on these schools. I wont say we don't make any money, but it's really not that much.
At a BMW School, there are upward of 60 Instructors for about 100-120 students. I think we had nearly 70 Instructors for this school.
The club also supplies lunch both days, and dinner on Saturday. At dinner, there were also door prizes. ranging from a set of Toyo's (any size up to $1200), a B&M shifter, a ChaseCam, and then shirts, bags, etc.
BMW Instructors are many of the Top instructors in the country, I believe all of the Driving Concepts Instructors started and still are BMW instructors.
I did a Redline Event at BW that would have been $350 for 2 days (I only did 1), there were only about 3 Instructors that I saw, no food, and no Free Shirt, so for another $80, figure 2 lunches and dinner is about $20, a nice shirt embroiders with track and club logo at $30, then you get an Instructor available to you for the entire day for only $30.
Pricey, Yes, Worth it? For a newbie, Hell Ya.
