i just got my 1bar grill and before i install it i was curious if anybody had any experience in doing so. appreciate the help!

I assume it installs like any other grill. Or are you asking for help installing a grill period?
I can scan the scematics from my Bentley manual if that's what you need.

it came with glue, it looks like it goes over the bumper. Mk4 golf fromt bumpers come up and meet the headlights where the grill ends. this new grill layers over the bumper. its odd.

Hmmm. Do you have any pics of the grill and supplies?

not right now. i will next week. my car is in the shop (with the grill). I had a break in and im having the repairs done. i also threw in the grill to get it painted.

I believe they are designed for Boser hoods??

yes they are meant for use with the boser hood. that too will be a pain in the ass. especially the windshield washer nozels
