That's cool how it has a launch sequence kind of built in with the 3k rev limiter when your foot is on the brake...

DSG is pretty amazing. Too bad that the launch control isn't coming to the US for another year though.

DSG is definitely smooth and quick, but I could never give up driving a manual tranny!

Since it has paddles/lever, meaning I can go ahead and try to be faster than the machine (because, as you and I know, I'm waaaaaay better at shifting than a drift king... shhh... it's a good dream), I don't mind. Commuting via city streets 12 miles one way up and down the hills of West Los Angeles gives you a different perspective concerning all-manual gearboxes.

up shifting I really wouldn't mind the DSG but the ability to down shift.... coming into a turn that is where I'd want control and I guess the paddles will give you that...

and they blip the throttle for you too, perfectly matched downshifts in 0.008 seconds

Interesting....Potter working on this??? :eek: I actually tried it and it wont let me get over 1000rpm, hardly enough for a launch ;)
