So riding to/from work lately, I noticed a house with a VW bus, and some odd wagon.
A few days later the wagon was for sale ... apparently its a 1978 Peugeot 504 wagon, like so:

So now I can't stop thinking about it, and all the weird things I could do to it ... or, more likely, how it would run four times a year, while the rest of the year sat in a corner, deprived of any parts or mechanics in the country.
Damn, I'm attracted to some damn weird cars ...

Buy it! lol
yeah if its a diesel it will get killer mileage while it runs, the most that car could be worth is $500, people loose more than that in vegas on a single bet, so buy it and drive it untill it takes a major shit then donate it!

Well, I only drive my car on the weekends as it is, and I can only have one car here.
Selling my car for this seems absolutely insane, but I've been known to be crazy. Gotta live a little, right? :p
If I'm bored this weekend (nothing lined up) I might just have to check it out in person. I doubt anyone else will scoop it up first :ha:
If you sell your MKIII for a Peugeot, you will be disowned by us and the VW gods

Hey, its still Euro :p
and don't worry, the mk3 is here to stay. The Peugeot is just a pipe dream.
I still might check it out for kicks though. If I could land a second job, I'd grab it for sure, but no beans just yet.
