oh boy ... people, please never use the emergency jack period !!

im serious, i wouldnt even use the jack in the truck for emergencies

that thing is the worse designed jack ever

That sucks. Too late now, but hit up Harbor Frieght for the next time. Nice aluminum floor jacks for under $100.

Almost makes me glad my car didn't come with a jack. Almost.

that's his own stupidity to use the emergency jack in an attempt to change out shocks? W T F

using the stock jack to get the car high enough to get the car onto a "good" floor jack should be just fine. But relying on the stock jack to keep the car airborne for long periods of time is a bad bad bad idea. Always use jackstands if you're doing serious work.

The stock jack is designed to get one wheel off the ground to change a tire, not support the weight of most of the car!!

i still dont trust the stock jack. i would never use it unless its perfectly flat ground....that thing doesnt look stable especially for changing shocks lol
