From the looks of the pictures, my guess would be that he was exiting a freeway and traffic was stopped on the off-ramp and he didn't stop in time.

I'm glad to hear that you're alright though, and I'm sorry about the car.

actually...i was gonna go more along the lines of saying that he had too mcuh change in his front left pocket....maybe around 47 cents or so.

this offset of balance made the car start into an instant spin manuever.
the driver tried to change radio stations hoping that the car would calm itself...but to no avail.


but anyways....it just looks like a rear ending happened....slow braking reaction. not necessarily an offramp tho...he appears on the shoulder.

Yeah, but it looks like they moved the cars, the white bimmer has damage in the front, so unless it was a headon...

I've got my fingers crossed for you that its a total loss. Mine was pretty jacked up and they still fixed it. Fixing that much damage just never works.

I know its cliche but at least you're alright and the cars can be replaced.

it is a total loss.... anyway, here is the story... at like 12:30 at night i was driving home on the 55 Freeway from Newport going towards Yorba Linda (like anaheim hills/ Orange County). Anyways, I had worked like 10 hours that day from like 6-4 and then coached volleyball until 9:30, then went to my friends house. I was stupidly using cruise control at like 67 and listening to jack johnson and i dozed off. When i woke up i was cut off by some blue car doing like 50 mph. My first reaction was to swerve and slam on the brakes, so i did, and then i lost control and spun. I tried to get control of the car a couple times but was unsuccessful. When i gave up i sorta just put my arm over my face and then i hit the center divider head on.

Luckily, i walked away perfect, and without hitting anyone else or hurting anyone.

Anyways, the car is a total loss so now im just waiting on my insurance company to send me the settlement offer in the mail.
