Good BMW mechanics in socal area?

I really don't like taking my cars to delearships for service so anyone know of any good BMW mechanics around SoCal area? I'm talking GOOD mechanics like the kind that knows everything about the cars and are enthusiasts themselves that do honest work, not some hole in the wall place with "ASE certified" mechanics that can't tell the diff between an M3 and 325

There is a great repair shop in Arcadia - EMW (European Motor Works) - he does a lot of repair work on our race car. He used to be the top tech at a dealer.

south bay independant is one of the best and I'm a master tech. A good friend of mine works there who has an E30 M3. they do everything from maintaince to race motors.
