Hey all, we just got another "EURO" member to the family :D ...and to make a very long story short, my son tried to find an E46 M3 that he could "truly" and "comfortably" afford, but we could not find the right price and car locally. Nevertheless, his other choice was an Audi.

Sooooo....Today, my boy bought an "01 Audi TT Quatro.....
I drove it home, and t'was fun..:smokem:
However, it does not feel like his old man's BMW (me E36) :tup:.. Anyways, I guess after all my talking about how great SoCalEuro is, from the good company, great conversation, the awesome cars, the established friendships, and just plain shooting the sheeet on a wednesday night. He turned, or should I say, "converted"...Yup! No more Japanese Import..... :confused:

I did tell him jokingly that for him to "formally" hang with all the bunch of us at our GTG's, he must have a "Euro"....LOL...no pun intended son, and it was all in good taste and love...:)

All in all, I am very happy for him and most of all it will be great to have my son there with me there on wednesday nights...:D :D...Already, I can see it in his face, the beginning of the addiction....of "mods"....

I will wait for his first post and introduction here on the forum... Hmmmm...I wonder, if at the GTG next week, he will let me affix the socaleuro sticker on his ride to make it official...:rolleyes:

nicee... i thought i remembered seeing a yellow s2000 there on wednesday tho, and i saw him wednesday so i assumed that was his car

He was driving that S2K for a while (really nice one, too) but its no SCEuro hehe.
S2K out. TT in. We welcome him to the family. Now he can come to the big meet, too, and check out that hot Rennen TT. That'll give him the bug!

it was still his... David told me it was 'sale pending'. The buyer had a loan, but was waiting for it to fund. I guess it came through this morn. :tup:

Yeah...The Audi TT is sitting here in our driveway, and my son is still driving his S2K.
We hope that this woman comes through with her funding, its "suppose"
to happen this weekend.....:rolleyes:

Yup, Lon I finally got him to turn :tup:....BTW, it is an awesome car...but there is no way in hell that anyone can truly fit in the back seats, unless you are a contortionist....What is it, no taller than 4'11"(Ooompa Loompa or Hobbit height only).....LOL....However, I guess the rear seats were implemented for the lower insurance rating....
