I'd buy one.

First VW has to determine that they should bring it over. Then they have to design the car to meet DOT specs. The current model does not. Maybe they'll figure things out and design the next model to pass our regulations.

Polo as it sits now does not meet US crash safety ratings. same reason why US spec cars look like 4x4's from the factory

VW woulds sell s meny of those. BUT they feel the US doesnt want the "cheaper" VW lines. VW is a snob to the US.

I love my Golf. And i Always will. I just wish VW would open their eyes more to the US buyers wants and needs.
