Would the car get impounded for these mods?

Not for speeding, or street raceing or anything like that but
just pulled over because of a tail light or whatever the police officer
claims to be pulling you over for and finds
a turbocharger on a car that didn't come turbocharged from the factor.
How big of trouble you think this person will get into if he get's pulled over?:confused:

smog ref usually... state governed smog station which will force you to be carb compliant. So anything modifying the intake, exhaust, engine management that can be caught will need to be fixed prior to the referee inspecting the vehicle.
