wikedgolf, i think i speak for most of us here in south san diego when i say we won't be racing. we encountered the same thing at bimmerfest's caravan and it messed things up, so we are sticking as a close-knit group and anyone is welcome to join us.

All of the oc mini spots are going to meet up in one huge spot before everyone cruises to Ventura, right?

I think we should all meet at the IKEA right next to the 405 in costa mesa. You cant miss it from the freeway, and you can mapquest it for exact directions.

But i say this because its right by the 405, huge, place, on the way for all SD people assuming we take the 405 or even the 5. they also have a side parking lot that can probably hold more than enough cars assuming the caravan wont be 500 strong.

well Anaheim Hooters is a keep spot because people know where its at

but it is a weird route from Anaheim Hooters to 405

might have to take the 57 South and then 22 West for those coming from Anaheim Hooters to 405 North

A pitstop in woodland hills is a good Idea since Most of us will have to take a break. I will be bringing the MK5, the GTI is just too damn stiff to be driving on the fucked up freeways.

I know everyone wants Denny's 'cause they're used to it, but Ikea would allow for a central OC meet spot.

Makes no difference to me as I am in south OC, but it may for others.............

Wish we could but our plates are made on big machines in Germany.

I'll bring some frames, used plates, and registration decals if anyone is interested. I also have a few euro front ends for the A4 i'm trying to get rid of.

I'll take orders and have them shipped out on Monday however.
