so here i am browsing around looking for new parts and i see a link to this (i know it's ebay) but how is this so cheap??? what is it missing? there can't be THAT much difference in the performance of FMIC unless you're running a big turbo setup right? anyone else think this is a decent deal or should i just shut up and save my money???

I dunno. Seems really cheap, but the seller has a great rating from a lot of reviews. I mean, 98.5% positive out of almost 30,000 reviews... hard to believe it would be a scam, but that's a crazy price.

I like the line he has in the description, "Increase about 15-30 HP"
Ok

Sounds like you might have to do some work on some mounting brackets and such for it but for the price even if you have to do some work to make it right it is still a good deal.

Ask him some questions like if you do need anything else.... then post up here for others to see... :) I don't think its a real greddy though...

I can almost guarantee its not a greddy, but if you just wanted the look of a front mount, and didnt care about performance gains...thats one hell of a deal. Ive gone by those auctions multiple times. Intercoolers are mostly all the same as well.... just a question of how simple it is to install...

well i want performance gains but i'm not expecting "greddy" gains, just a little something more than what i have, i've been told i should have had one already with a bigger turbo setup but haven't had the $1k just lying around.. i guess is what i'm getting at is does it seem like i'd get a decent gain/would this be decent for my car as opposed to nothing... i'm not expecting 80whp but i would like to know if this would be at least better for my car.. thanks again for all the info guys!
