Yahoo has a 250MB email. And a magazine i just read rated Yahoo Mail as the top because of its features.
and for $19/year you get 2GB from Yahoo Mail

I have tons of Gmail invites too. I maintain a lot of email sites, 2 Gmail/2 Hotmail/1 Yahoo/1 Excite, plus my personal home and work addresses. (Pop3 at Cox.net and Boeing)
Slowly moving from Hotmail to Gmail, Gmail seems to have better spam control and I like the instant notifcation taskbar tool. I use one for Forums, the other for Net purchases. (one with forum name, other with real name) The search function is great too.
Also Hotmail is a pain, I have to touch it at least once a month or I lose it. MS BS. I keep them for my MS accounts only. (done a lot of various beta testing for them over the years)

Well, your username never goes away, it just gets deactivated.
All your old mail gets cleared out, but if you're only using it as a throw-away, that doesn't matter anyway.
