Anyone tried modifying their sway bar bushings to accept zirk fittings

My sways squeak like mad and its driving me insane. Its kinda a pain in the butt working off the front clips. I was thinking of just drilling out a hole and tapping each for a zirk fitting. Then I can just zap it with the grease gun just by lifting the car without even taking the wheels off.
