i was watching this segment about it, and how is this legal? i mean the entrants are shipping euro spec cars to america, driving WAAAAY over the speed limit, some cars are even done up like police cars, and their are no arrests? in other words, im a hater.....

Why wouldn't it be legal? The rules of the rally are to get to the next destination point. The speeding comes at the discretion of the drivers. Also, there is actually only one car done up like a cop car, and its not really even done up like one, it just has the lights on the inside of the car, and the sirens. They do mess with other participants of the rally, but its all in good fun for them.

Back to the topic, those happened to be the only 2 Audi's that were in LA for the rally. There were more in the rally in Europe, but I guess they never made it to the states.

definatley dope! A buddy of mine says this has been going on for several years now! I have seen videos of the euro rally and i tell you those kats drive their cars like we wished we could drive our our here.
