It doesn't seem to be functioning properly. I click on the letters it tells me that there are no such names that begin with said letter, when there are for sure names, has this not been integrated/fixed yet?

actually it does work.....
kinda....
what it does...is it does an "and" function with the names already on the screen...and the letter you click.

so if you go to the members list....and you see the members listed there....pick a starting letter of one of the names on that initial list...and you'll see what i mean.

to add to that....it appears that the list is only comprised of the top 7 people when it comes to post count.

I just tried what you said, I am guessing you are referring to the Search Members drop down box. I typed in A and got some random names. I think it is messed up. What I did before was just click the letters in the list across the screen, got nothing as well.

Just out of curiosity, why?

FunkTron

cuz right now....i click on the members listing...and it shows the top 7 posters....and if i click on a letter to view members with that starting letter.... it will only show those that are in the initial list of top 7 posters that have their names starting with the letter i chose.

Well I guess I am not worthy yet then, since I only have 32 posts. Well if the post counts were updated I would be worthy. GET ON IT!!!

i dont want random people looking at the members list .. so at least only people that are actually active ...

especially robots or spammers or something ... my consider lowering it to 20 posts maybe ... but i figure if your active, you'll get 50 easily

Perfect!

I think the email addresses are hidden too. That link is actually not a mailto so it keeps people from mining addresses from the site.

Lon, did you change it back cause I can see everyone again, and just to test it out, I logged out and looked at the list and sure enough I could see everyone.

I just looked and if I log out... I have to log in to see the user list.

I dunno if it was changed back or what but I don't see an issue at this time.

yeah, i don't see any reason to limit who sees the members list. was kind of annoying me this morning when i was trying to update my buddy list because i couldn't view any members unless they were logged in at the time!

I don't know either... it still looks fine to my admin and regular account.
