Trans problem???

I keep bouncing back and forth between my dogmounts. One is stock with EIP Gromets (Street Strip) and the other is a Redline with only one poly connected to the Trans. The rest of it is Metal. (Race).

Now the problem is with the Redline I hear the Trans. it almost sounds loose at Idle. Then when I press the Clutch in the raddling goes away. So it there anything wrong with this? it this Normal with the more agressive Dogmount? Also how bad will this get when I install all the poly mounts? I believe it is my tranny wearing out but I wanted to make sure.

I think it's normal gear lash, if our GTI is any indication. We have VF mounts all around, and we get the same tranny noise. Annoying sometimes, but it's a good compromise.
