So some of you have heard I'm building one of these barmonkey things. I'm building a 16 ingredient version using pumps and valves and CO2... oh my!
I just got the last of my pumps and all of my valves in the mail yesterday so now I need to go find a CO2 system and a relay board to control everything. After that I need to find some sort of a console bar to put all the equipment into.
Sorry for the grainy pictures... the cameraphone was having a bad day with the lighting.

I think I need to find a non alcoholic project after this.

What are you going to use for a CO2 tank? 20oz Paintball tank with a pressure reg?

10lb with multiple regulators
Its pretty much a soda machine that pumps alcohol instead of soda so I'm using fairly standard restaurant/bar equipment.
I've seen guys use a 20oz with a cooler but they weren't using pumps. Really, that would be the way to go for a protable unit. Then you would just need a little text display and a keypad. Problem is you would have to limit the variety of drinks it could serve to make it work well. It would be really easy and cheap (<$100) to build one that did just 1 type of drink.

The pix are working fine. Can you program it to pour mixed drinks for you?

I think I'm just going to use an off the shelf board for industrial control systems. To say my soldering skills are pathetic would be putting it mildly. The board I was looking at also has a processor on it so I can do some neat things with it.
