Our detailer just retired after doing our cars for many years.
I have been thinking about doing the Tech Formula sealant deal on the S4. Pros, cons, thoughts? Wann sell me on your protective sealant? Is it the same type thing?

The only way we work out of San Diego County is for car shows or large groups.... but yes, we do swirl removal! I am very good with a rotary buffer as well as my favorite polisher :

Yes, that is clay bar in action. It is dirty because I just removed a ton of enviromental fall out. Brk4euros has been my handle since I first started posting on here, from then I just decided to keep it. I have a couple "BRK4EUROS" plates that Sean @ CustomEuropeanPlates.com did for me.

...damn, nice detail work...i think my ol'M3 needs a little more than a cleaning though...hehehe...i beat the hell out of her...she loves me....ahhhh... no, seriously though....where is the best place to get a good paint job at a reasonable price in San Diego?

There are quite a few shops in SD, but if you are looking to get a good deal, I would recommend prepping the car on your own.

alright man, ill give you a call here in the next couple days and let you know what i need man. as it stands, ive got my black 325is e36, and my gf's white 325i e36. depending on how sunday goes, i might also need a 86 Nissan 300ZX turbo done, which needs some serious love. definitly one to take before and after pictures of lol. got it for a 100 bucks, and needs some small things done to turn a decent profit, anyway, ill let you know.

I am a bellman and also an event server. Ya there is a purple Z28 and a lowered S2000 near where i park. I work with them. Ya tinted tails and black VW on back, Roof Rack and badgeless grill. Lowering it soon, S4 wheels. Passat. There is a Jetta that is same color and roof rack on top of the hill but that isnt mine. I park on the slope.

Chris, do you buff out scratches? We're going to need a bit of work on the back bumper of the A6. Some F'er backed into it at Linens and Shit, and left a scuff, somee paint and a little hole in the bumper. So much for parking away from everyone else.
I'm not sure if we're doing the A6 tomorrow. The S4 has about 3 weeks of sprinkler spots.

Nooooooooo!!!!! Lesson learned, don't let the wife drag ya to linens and things! JK! Have Jennifer bring it in and I will see what kinda miracles I can work. :p Someone decided to throw oranges at my FJ and Rig a couple weeks back. . . :confused: My dent guy was at my house the next day.

How have I been? Hmm, that's a tough one. I have my health. I guess that's a start. but it all kind of goes downhill from there.
First there was the Linens and Things tragedy. I was just starting to pull out of that little depression, when I did the most boneheaded thing I have ever done in a car.

I had just done the brakes on the S4, and I was getting ready to back out of the garage. I didn't disconnect any brake lines, so I wasn't thinking about any possible absence of brakes. With my foot on the brake (which only felt a little it soft), I put it in reverse and started moving. Hmm, that's not right. I threw it in neutral, and pumped the brakes a few times, but got nothing. This wouldn't have been too much of a problem, as it was about 10:45 at night, and my street is pretty slow at night. But the S6 was parked about 8 feet behind me.
So I whipped the wheel to the right and almost cleared the S6.
Almost.
I figured if I can just clear the S6, I can figure something out when I get onto the lawn. I really didn't care what I did to the lawn, the S4 or the mailboxes. Just as long as I didn't harm the S6.
I harmed the S6.
I scuffed the shit out of the front bumper, and cracked it right below the side marker. The light sticks out about 1/2 inch from the bumper, which is pushed in a bit on the left side. There is also a scuff on the lens.

I feel like a total ass.

Chris, please help! We're going to file a claim, but anything you can do to make it look better in the meantime would be so very much appreciated.
