It looks pretty bright. Is it as bright as it looks or is it just the picture?

I have that gauge in VW indigo on my dash. I had it in the closet for two years. I bought it from GTIsurfer... yeah, that long ago.. your over five months has nothing on the sheer laziness I achieved in not installing this gauge. :D

I still have a pair of side mirror housings with built-in blinkers (stock on 2004+ NBs) that I haven't installed... and those are going on three years in the closet.
Sigh.

It's okay Linus. Just the fact that you thought enough to purchase the mod is enough. ;)
Both gauge installs look awesome!
Lol Linus, that's pretty bad. :P At least I can account my delayed mod install to my more recent hobby. :D
yes the boost gauge is overly bright =\ I may have to install some sort of potentiometer

looks good Paul.
It's a little bright, might have to have some tint cut out and applied :P

yea....i mostly meant the installation and you chose a good spot for it too
The gauge has it's problems, like not being angled towards the driver :P only downside.
Both installs look good.
I have had my gauges in for about 4 months now and have yet to finish hooking up the oil pressure gauge. :(

mine's a tad bright too ... wonder if we can put a resistor in the line to dim it
