Ok i have a 1997 Audi A4 5speed 1.8t Awd.... im thinking about trading it in for a 2000 BMW 328i 4door auto. my audi runs fine no probs at all i just dont find it as sexy as i did before and i have been looking into the 328i and found alot of aftermarket parts for it and even a full M3 kit for a good price. Question is should i do it or stick with my A4?? i dont care about the price difference (9k for my A4, 14,760 for the 328i) and i dont mind the Auto tranny i have a 2003 CBR600RR for when i want to have some fun. here are some pictures to help.

sorry Audi guys, but that E46 will be around long after that audi is a recycled beer can, I should know, I have seen plenty of those A4's when I was at the dealer, Now working for BMW, the E46 is a far better car, no real problems with it.

Hell being a 97, that A4 already has a foot in the grave

Besides the whole BMW v. Audi thing, the BMW is three years newer than the Audi. That puts it over the Audi, IMHO. And if you aren't sure you want an auto, shop around and find a manual car.

Manuals are bullet proof if you dont beat on them, The autos can sometimes have problems, but it depends on if its a ZF or a GM, ZF has a single oil pan for the trans, GM has two, GM box can be a little troublesome, but than again, the GM box is only $1500 I think for a factory unit from the dealer.

Im not selling my A4 for 9k thats how much i payed for it, 22,XXX miles old ass white lady owned it b4 me... i tracked her down to ask some questions about the car. the dealership also has a 4door M3 5speed... that thay are willing to take my car from me for 7k and the asking price for this 98 M3 is 15k but there going to take the 7k for my car + 2k off. so a grand total of 6k cash out of my pocket for the M3.

the M3 is worth it, but not the old 328, it looks like it was a kids from the mods on it, and if it was abused its gonna be pricey to own.

YEP :hitit: its clean the only prob that i could find in the 45min test drive/1 hour look over was the head liner is comming off so it needs to be taken to a shop and fix. Oh and the tires are different sizes (front left) 235/45/zr (front right) 235/45/r (rear left) 245/40/r (rear right) 245/40/zr...
