Yeah..we just recently got set up as a flash station at Group 5 and we have not had time to have our webmaster update the site to include the GIAC info...sorry. The sale applies to any VW/Audi programs and the flashloaders as well. If your car has any pre-existing fault codes we do have a Vag-com and for a few more bucks we can clear the codes for you and then flash the program in. Unfortunately the GIAC programs will not download into any ecu with existing fault codes.
It would be a good power fix until you go on boost..:)

Joe is probably the best salesman to ask about the GIAC stuff at the shop. All of our salesman are familiar with the product but Joe has the most time spent with the GIAC guys on the phone etc.

Too funny...I heard you talking to Kevin here in sales while I was posting on another thread. The GIAC stuff is usually the most aggressive programing on the market.

Whats the earliest I can bring the car on Saturday. Is GIAC in line to make another program for the 24v? I heard that you guys only have the Performace program. I'd hate to get this and not ever see a race program. I know the gains are 7 and 12, but will I see an even bigger gain due to the intake and exhaust?

I apologize if you have already scheduled something in advance but if you have not: for the most part Group5 is not open on weekends.

Give the shop a ring and coordinate with Joe the Manager. We are not open on Saturdays but we can handle it anytime during the week. They do not yet list a race program and from what they say they do not have plans for it. Giac is very good about upgrades and if they ever make more power on the performance program you get free upgrade on the software with a slight charge for the labor to flash the new program. You can email GIAC and ask em about if they ar planning on a race program but as of now they said no go.
you will see a bit more HP with the mods you have because combined they will feed off eachother.

We can Vag it for you..if it goes smooth we will not charge you but if we have to spend a lot of time clearing all the codes we have to charge a few bucks labor.
The normal charge is 45 min to an hour to flash so figure we are already giving $85.00 max in free labor then the 10% off of the average flash which is $495.00 so $49.50. If we have to spend to much time clearing codes we would not be able to make any $. We want to hook you guys up but still stay in business:D

If the codes clear quickly I will waive any fees..

Just wanted to thank you guys once again for taking advantage of the GIAC special..
it worked well for us all...good prices for the Socaleuro members and since we just recently started the GIAC flash program they were stoked at the amount of flashes we did on our first month.

It really only applied to flashable software because the discount structures are different but we can work you a special deal for the standard eprom style.

Just an FYI..This sale is over for now but we still offer 5% off the list price on the GIAC software and standard flash labor time is 45 min to 1 hour at $85.00 per hour and Bench flashes where we have to remove the computer runs 1hour to 1.5 hours at $85.00
