I am completely shocked!! :confused:

Zidane played an awesome game for France...but it sucked to watch. :(

Was routing for France the whole time.

Brazil just did not play hard/well enough. They even had the glory foul just in front of the goal but Ronaldinho missed it.

I agree. They only really started to "play", the last 5-10 minutes of the game. The rest of the time was poor. :(

Yep, France was pushing hard and should have had more goals. Brazil only started to play hard as time was running down.

Hell, I thought Zidane was going to get the sliding goal from that cross late in the game, but he didn't even slide. He knew the oppurtunity had passed.

My predictions Germany defeats Italy, and France defeats Portugal.

Then in the Final, France over Germany 3-1.

brazil hasn't played a game since last world cup. I will give Ronaldo props on 15 WC goals. They havent played brazilian soccer at all this cup.

I'm thinking Germany is going to take it. Thats what I've been thinking pretty much the whole series. Germany has an amazing passing game. We'll have to see if it takes them to the cup.

It was quite a shock, I thought; although France should never have been taken lightly. I was watching the game at the Hard Rock LJ, what an awesome crowd. The last 20 minutes the whole bar was hoping for a tie, no matter whos side they started the game for...

BTW, what's this isht with Becks quitting as Captain??!? It would be interesting to see a Co-captainship with Gerrard and Rooney...

I think it all boiled down to Germany letting up, HOPING to get into PKs. Too bad, they played back to back OT games... France and Portugal will be an interesting matchup.
