Yesterday, my co-worker asked me what i would do if i were on a date and the person i was with is boring me, how would i get out of it
So, i thought that this would be an interesting thread to start
What would you guys or gals do if you were on a date and you wanted to find a way to leave?

"so are we gonna get down to business tonight?"
either you find out right away that you are getting some action....or you just cut that date short right on the spot. ;)

i don't think that will work well with females though...
haha, it'd be great for guys................ hahaha
*edit*
actually... i told my co-worker that i'd go to the bathroom, call my friend to have him/her call me back, tell me some lame ass story and to get out of there.... hahaha
id stick it out.........even if it gets worse, you have a tale to tell

what if it gets worse to the point where you can't stand it anymore?

depends... how'd i get setup with the chick? blind date? through a friend?
i don't got a problem telling a girl that i don't think she's worth my time, especially if it's not through a friend...

i'd prolly pull a fake cry after getting off my cell phone and come up with some lame excuse about a friend in trouble (gives you a reason to "hold off on dating" for a while afterwards

Really it depends on where the date is. Usually, finish dinner give her a hug and bounce. Then don't do a follow up date.

i always give myself windows of opportunity to get the fuck out. plan 8 hours of shit in 1-2 hour increments so at any time you can bounce

"I'm sorry, I don't feel that this is working out. Naturally, I'll pay for dinner, but perhaps we should skip dessert."
Or is that too harsh?

if its about bordeom it is your own fault- someone has to lead and the other may follow- just go out to have a good time if the date isn't feelin it then you still had a good time- then you can call another late night date after you drop off miss boring bottoms ;-)

actually very straight forward, yet so proper that it would work. This could be used as a good close because maybe the date will snap out of it and say to herself "hey this could be my last chance i gota kick it up a notch!" - either that or she'll stay bored and you end the date_ sounds good to me right

Depends.... but for me, not harsh enough. lol i'd probably tell her this conversation is going nowhere, get up, wish her a good evening or good night and leave. That's just me.
