We started putting wallpapers for kids to download on our site; the first batch featured two of my photos that I actually like. They originally ran as spreads a few months back. And they're digital, too! (Cannon Mark II D-whatever)

Werd. I haven't seen the pic of KC yet. Did that already go to press?

Yeah, both of those were in the photo issue (Gary's cover). If you saw the Steve photo, then you saw KC's. You're just a space case.

Hot photo of Doyle on the site that you'll like.

How did you light the first shot? Off camera flash hidden to the right?

Three flashes. Check the shadows on the cement in the background...one on the right, two on the left (one for the rider and one for the background).

Thanks everyone else.

Thanks! Those are lights for the sign...not my flashes. I wouldn't leave them in the open like that :).

Cool. I'd be interested in coming out and watching you shoot? Any chance of that?

Bones: four or five...not exactly sure. In my broke (as in $$) days, I wouldn't go to the doctor unless I thought I was dying or lost feeling in something (it's happened on both accounts).

It's not really a "shoot," so it'd be a little awkward. Generally when someone calls to shoot something it's not exactly defined or even legal. Two minutes after I shot the second photo, we were booted by police... I pretty much have a run-in with the police every week or so. It's nothing magical anyway.

Sorry it took me so long to reply...I forgot about this topic.

Here's another one:

BMX is the reason I'm so into dubs lately.
More so tearing my ACL and meniscus riding.
That's why you guys have seen more of me lately than ever.
I'm glad I had my car and good peeps to fall back on.
Kinda helps when VW seems to be the official car of BMX..

Ryan used to drive a Focus of Doom, with a 5" wide tach.
I hope I can say I influenced him to get his VW. Hopefully.

Anywho, Ryan has shot all kinds of photos of me. He's also shot recent photos of my car as well. Problem is I'm too lazy to convert CR2 files to upload them, but I'll get around to it (like I'll get around to giving him his BOV outlet piece)

Here are a couple he shot of me:

Taken from here (http://www.defgrip.com/autophoto/fudger/fudger.htm).

Oh, here's another:

Holla.

I'll put more of his shots up as I convert them..

Hey, it was 3", Gary bought it for me, and I only put it in because the car didn't have a tach! Oh well...we all make mistakes.

All photos the digi photos of Nate (both the riding and car photos) were shot with a Cannon 1D Mark II with a Cannon 15mm fisheye lens. It's easy to make still objects sharp when you're used to shooting photos of people going 20mph right in front of your lens. :)
