I had some stuff to return to REI, but forgot my receipt. Despite the purchase being on my REI member account, they would only give me store credit.
so I am sitting on a credit slip for $214 and some change.
looking to see if there is interest from a board member willing to trade cash so I can fund my skydiving altimeter.
hit me up with offers if interested. I may use it for climbing gear otherwise.

actually returned a watch/altimeter. I'm looking to get a more accurate / higher sensitivity altimeter with full function database recording and a much faster refresh rate.....for safety reasons.

If you hit the ground, you're at ground level.
You need a watch to tell you this?
=)

Well the one he had before would tell him 2 seconds after he hit the ground that he was at ground level.

Those are easily derived with a stopwatch and a slide rule.

(When I was kid, we didn't have parachutes. We just jumped out of the tree and flapped our arms!)
