so yea 2day after droppin my sis to school and on the way home i saw first a nice (look lowered) black m5 with an old lady driving and then i saw a beautiful blue audi s4 with another old lady in it. so being the pondering person that i am i was wondering.....do you think these old ladies bought the car knowing all the power it has..? or just cuz its really nice expensive car?

I think alot of people buy just for the name and price. I was watching King of Cars and this girl really wanted a BMW convertible because it was a cool thing to have. They ended up getting her in a gorgeous M3 convertible and she really had no idea it was a M3 or a regular 3 series.

i think those two old ladies were related, and they used to be import models, but now they are old, but still love hot cars... * (just a guess...)

Just curious what your definition of old is... If it's the same as mine, then yeah, it's all status. They find an expensive car they like, and have to get the top-end model of that body style... Exactly the type of people you want to buy these cars from when they're done with them. :D

when i was driving back from missouri i saw a guy, his wife (i think), and their two kids.. luggage rack, bike rack on the back, etc.. the full works.. on an older RS4... yeah all i could think was if he knew what he was driving... then i got really jealous and wanted to rob him :( j/k

i've seen a couple times in a sport model B5 S4 black/black tinted but with chrome rims... in costa mesa and up the 405... funny how i've seen her a few times

For example: I bought MY bmw because I like how it looks and I'm
sure that old lady did too, but she liked the options on the m5?

Why do you always see old people in high end car?

same reason 90% of vette drivers are old ass men doing 30 in a 45. drives me crazy. i've actually though about rear ending them and telling the police they were driving too slow for traffic conditions.

speaking of...the doc who delivered my son is a 30-something asian girl..very nice. the day after delivery when i went back to see wife & son, i saw her getting in a sweet gold M3. I commented on her taste in cars and she said her fiance picked it out and she didn't know anything about it other than she liked the color.
