It's a euro at heart...

Was on a super busy 6 lane street heading to work...ended up behind a white Crossfire. Didn't think much of it. I actually think it's a well designed car, but way to impractical to buy for me. Some cars moved out of the lane in front of it and he nailed it...pulled pretty good from a 45 roll. I caught back up to it and was now intreagued.

Came to a big intersection with another 6 lane street and the Crossfire moved to the left turn lanes abrubtly. I followed just to see. Just the long way to work. This street is always dead at morning rush hour.

We ended up catching the first light after the turn side by side. 40's something guy in a dress shirt. I wasn't sure if he was going to play, but I switched to my left foot on the brake for a little power brake launch, just in case.
At the green, I launched and had at least 5 cars by the next red light (about 1/8 mile). This time I knew he was going to run as he inched forward. Got some decent revs on the powerbrake and launched at the green. This time he stayed in my blind spot up to about 40, then I pulled about a car and 1/2 by the next red. So I figured 3rd time he was going all out. He never revved up, so I figure he was in an AT too.
Green again, and he never got any further up than my back bumper on the launch and again I pulled about 2 cars.

We never ran it up over 60-ish in a 50mph...I slowed down to about 55 and he pulled up next to me and gave me the thumbs up...a salute in return.

Sorry but I have to lock this.

We don't allow street racing threads on SCE.
