Pure Euro and Neftin VW are very pleased to bring you:
The Grill and Chill GTG, Group Drive, and Post-Drive BBQ/GTG on Sunday, August 20th.
To keep things better organized, the information will be split up in to 3 parts:
First Part Of The Day: Neftin VW (http://www.neftinvw.com) Pre-Drive GTG
When: Sunday, August 20th
Time: Roll-in will be from 9:45-10:30. GTG will be going on until the 11:30 departure for the drive.
Location: Neftin VW's lot

Coming from the San Fernando Valley: Take the 101N, Exit Westlake Boulevard, Make a right on to Westlake, Make a left on to Thousand Oaks Boulevard, Left on to Auto Mall Drive and the dealership will be on the right.
Coming from Oxnard: Take the 101S, Exit Hampshire Road, Make a Left on to Hampshire, Make a right on to Thousand Oaks Blvd, Right on to Auto Mall Drive and the dearlship will be on your right.
Neftin VW (http://www.neftinvw.com) has been gracious enough to offer us the use of their dealership to house a GTG. Not only will they be providing coffee and donuts for us in the morning, but they will be putting on a raffle for all that RSVP and offering a free goodie bag for the first 60 cars to RSVP. We are asking that people arrive between 9:45 and 10:30 (yes, AM). Please realize that space will be somewhat limited, so the earlier you get there, the better spot you will have. At 11:15, we will be conducting the free raffle. The only way to get a raffle ticket is to be one of the first 60 people (with a VW) to RSVP either by posting here.
A table will be set-up near the entrance to the dealership with the RSVP list. Just go to the table, tell them your first, last, and user name and they will give you your raffle ticket/grabbag.
Second Part Of The Day: Cruise Through The Canyons and Up The Coast
After the raffle at the Neftin VW (http://www.neftinvw.com) GTG, a "drivers briefing" for the cruise will go on and directions will be handed out. As the date of Grill and Chill comes closer, we will be giving more information about the route. For now, suffice it to say that it will be a 60 mile route through some of the nicest roads in the country and up the coast which will lead us to the spot for the Grill and Chill BBQ/GTG. The route will take about 90 minutes and is somewhat intense for a portion, but this cruise is my no means a "canyon run".
All posted laws MUST be followed and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
Please make sure to come to the Neftin VW (http://www.neftinvw.com) GTG with a full tank of gas and have done a minor "tech inspection" so we can make sure the drive runs smoothly. I do not beleive there will be any good opportunities to get gas along the way, so you're going to have to survive on what you have when you roll in to the GTG. There should be a gas station between the freeway and the dealership on your way there just in case...
Third Part Of The Day: All Euro Grill and Chill BBQ/GTG
So take everyone from the Neftin VW (http://www.neftinvw.com) GTG, drive them on 60 miles of the best roads in the world, and have the drive end at a great location for a BBQ and GTG with an open invitation to ALL EUROS.... That's the plan.. VW, Audi, Porsche, Volvo, BMW, Mini, Watercooled, Aircooled, Old, New, everything Euro.
Neftin VW (http://www.neftinvw.com) and Pure Euro (http://www.myspace.com/pureeurosocal) have teamed up to buy us all lunch by providing hot dogs and hambugers with all the fixin's (while supplies last)... We are asking that people help out the BBQ by bringing chips, salsa, drinks, etc (stuff that'll make it through the drive) and we can have one helluva BBQ.
For those not going on the drive, the information for the event is as follows:
Time: Show up between 1:45 and 2.
Place: Camarillo Grove Park
Address: 6968 E Camarillo Springs Rd, Camarillo, CA.

This last part of the day is all about getting to know eachother, relaxing in an amazing environment, and just having a good time. Needless to say, caution must be excesized while driving around the park... No terribly large bumps, so those that are low, just be careful and everything will be fine....
