Reputation Points enabled

The above icon allows you to give a user/member reputation points. You can find this icon in a thread with that user has posted underneath their name.

I enabled this primarily for rating of Classifieds sellers. But in general, we can use it to whore points for each other.

In regards to Classifieds, this helps people identify who is a good seller/buyer.

Please use this system to give your friends points or people you have done business with.

For every # of points you get, you will get an extra square. The more squares you get, the more points you have gotten from others.

You can also give negative feedback and take away people's points.

Yes 10 points per square. And depending on who gives you the rep points.

So for example, admins give 10 rep points. People who have been registered for a long time and have good # of posts give out more rep points.

Noob (50points at least) give out only 1 rep point

So, everyone ... start the rep point whoring ;)

1 - 50
2 - 150
3 - 250
4 - 350
etc etc =)

also, you can give out several rep points per a day ... so ... donrt think its just 1 rep a day

This seems like it can be dangerous but I'm game to see what happens.

Maybe I'll put the automatic demotions in place so people that piss everyone off automatically get put on the restricted list for a cooling off period. It'll be like when people used to warn eachother on AOL IM to temporarily block their accounts.

I could always use you as the lab monkey to test negative reputation stuff. I think it only takes away your green things though. I know there are odd little descriptions in the admin panel but I don't know where those show up.

so, looks like you automatically start with 1 square

when ya hit 50 rep points, ya get 1 square still
when ya hit 150 rep points, ya get 2 ;)
