My key fob and poping the trunk

My button doesnt work to pop the trunk on either one of my keys so how do i go about fixing it... i can unlock the trunk using my key or by using the little trunk lever on my door but id like my key to work as well

You're holding that trunk release button down for a little while right? It doesn't just pop open if you press the button. Just checkin...

yea its not new just nitpicking the little things wrong.. yea i hold it for like 15 seconds and no pop....

if neither of them are working, probably the motor to release the trunk doesnt work and not the key/switch

but he can open it with the switch in the door which uses the release motor. do you hear it tryi to open the trunk?

the portion on the remote needs to see certain signals before opening. it opens through the comfort convenience module.

If I make it to the GTG this week, I can scan for a fault in the responsible module.

Not sure it would find anything but its worth a shot.

I need to see if I have a meeting on wednesday night or not but if I'm there I'll have my vag-com with me.
