Does anyone on here from the bimmer world know a guy named BSAINT? I am just curious about what he actually has done to his car since he has taken to slandering my fellow SAABers while he contends to be almost stock with just a short shifter, exhaust, a few small bolt ons and an ecu tune (which hardly seems stock to me).
Not looking to rattle any cages just want to see what he really has done to his E36 and if it adds up to what he claims which is 250-260WHP.
Thanks.

Very unlikely in NA form, unless he has an M3 with cams and other stuff. No idea on who it is - I don't frequent any of the bimmer boards.
only way to get that kind of power out of an E36 is a supercharger, my buddies 328i put down 282WHP on a dinan blower with cams and exhaust,
so 250 whp sounds like a poorly tuned blower, or a numb nuts who supercharged a tired 325
so lets get it out in the open, fakes always disappear when called out.

He ran one of my buddies who with a bad ECU tune put down around 235WHP and beat him on 2 of 3 runs and then posted badly edited video of it with him doing ricer flybys while commneting how he won.
I just want to know what he really has so once my ECU is fully tuned I can take the drive and find him... lol.
He has also claimed to have raced a Lotus Esprit with around 5K of mods and smoked it badly as well as a SVT Cobra Mustang and a built SRT-4 with a Stage 3 turbo setup (which puts out around 490HP).
Has video of all of it which looks mainly like ricer fly by. Not saying his car is not fast but it cant be that fast on simple NA bolt ons.

I know he is definatly not blown... might be pushing some juice but not sure since he wont let us look at his car.
with N/A bolt ons, on a 328, he might see 180HP at the wheels on a good day
I will pull a plug wire of my 2.0 and give him a run for his money, HAHAHa

He couldn't hang with that SRT-4 unless my grandmother was driving it.

So then that is a possible estimate with those mods? WHat about torque??

He's only trapping 101 so he doesn't have cams... I'd say somewhere between 220-235 at the wheels with bolt-ons for him.

Cool.... in my SAAB 9-3 with bolt ons and an Automagic I trapped 98.6 so hopefully when I am tuned I can go find my friend that is spending so much time slandering the Swedes and get him on a track!
at 101 that puts him in the low low 14's right?

From what it looks like the other dude is the one who puts a lot of effort into trying to make other people look bad and I hope he gets his ass handed to him on tape.

This guy spends allot of time on the internet bashing saabs and saying how slow they are and how they suck. I can point you to atleast 10 post strings where he bashes every saab and owner for no reason. If I get smoked then so be it but atleast I tried.
So thanks for your opinion. :stupid:
How come this guy hasn't posted on here in defense?????
I'm with Steve, send him home with his tail between his legs and post the video.
Funny, the biggest trash talkers are the ones who can't put their money where their mouth is.

He is a new to deal with since I moved to the east coast 4 months ago so thats why he has no retort. I figured I would ask on here if people knew him and knew if the specs on his car seemed right.
It got asked on Bimmerforums and although no one likes him there the BMW crowd still addimantly sided with the M3 as the definitive victor over all so no real world answer.
After I finish the tuning process with my ECU then me and about 10 tuned SAAB's will be hunting him down and finishing it once and for all!!

im siding with the M3. i think a bolt on modded M3 will walk all over the Saab. i love saabs, their engineering is terrific. Personally though i think the M3 will victor by far.

Well if you compare a E36 M3 and a SAAB 9-3 HOT its not all that far off..
1995 M3:
Curb Weight MT
3179 lb
Unitary capacity 498.33 cc/cylinder
Aspiration Normal
Max. output
(SAEnet) 243.3 PS (240.0 bhp) (179 kW)
@6000 rpm
Max. torque
(SAEnet) 305.0 Nm (225 lbft) (31.1 kgm)
@4250 rpm
0-60mph 6.00s
0-Quarter-mile 14.60s @ 96.00 mph
2000 SAAB 9-3 HOT
Power: 205 BHP @ 5,500 rpm
209 ft lb @ 2,300 rpm
0-60 6.4s
0-1/4 Mile Time 15.1s @92.5mph
THe 2 cars are not that far apart and with just boltons my car put down 218WHP and 236lbft of torque with no tuning. With ECU and tuning my SAAB should be running around 245WHP and around 300lbft torque @2500RPM so it should be close on the freeway or any 30mph and up pull. But we will see what happens. I know that there are stock Viggens that blow away bolt on E36 M3's and Viggens only put down in the area of 245WHP or so.

Bench racing always cracks me up. There's too many factors to consider and argue about... driver skill, hp and tq curves (not just peak), gearing, weight, traction, tires, driver skill, etc. Quit arguing on the Internet and find a track to prove who's faster. ;)

No bench racing... I will be making the trek to take care of business in the very near future.
If you read my post in the begining I was not asking for a who would win scenario I was asking if the mods the guy claimed added up to the HP numbers he was spouting off.

yeah, this has nothing to do with us personally racing each other. if you read the post from the beginning, we are comparing the two cars because someone was talking trash about saabs, which is a stupid thing to do, because they are excellent cars. i dont ever expect my car to win, im slow, so i wouldnt be posting in here about me racing someone.
