You dont need one for drag racing... just pop the hood after the run that way youre not scooping in air during the run.

You can use an air/water with a cool can for intercooling.

Sounds like it is built to run in the "hotrod" class, which seem to be running 8's and 9's.

By the looks on the pic of the motor, the intercooler is liquid cooled. Good shit.
