searched and no help on vortex

my vag com wont be recognized i plug it in to the car and do what im supposed to do then test the usb and it wont recognize it... i use all usb ports and nothing.. the ports work because my mouse works does anyone have any suggestions? it has worked before but i had to reload windows... i have a key-usb vag

Silly question, but did you install the drivers by following Ross Tech's installation instructions?

you know what i cant find on ross tech where is shows you how to install the damb drivers can anyone hook my dumb ass up with a link thanks in advance

Make sure you downloaded the USB version of the software, there are two versions available side-by-side: serial and USB. You need the USB version.
