99 Passat Window Regulator

Anyone know if there was ever service bulletin a for the window regulators failing on 99 Passats? Not mine, but a friend just had her window fall.

I haven't heard about a TSB for the regulators... make sure its not not the cheap plastic pins that hold the glass into the regulator - those things break and pop out rather easily.

None for the Passat, only the MkIV's.
We've got replacement regulators available online.
