that car is all around a poor example of not planning ahead....the wheels are terrible, the tail lamps are all the rage in UK right now ...they look like crap....that paint looks like primer that either need to have a flat clear sprayed on it or a different color of primer....looks like the entire car is painted with bondo / body filler

amen ... that car embodies everything I don't like on VWs ...

Give me a dropped dub on swapped OE / Euro wheels, a subtle clean exterior, with most of the $ into engine+suspension any day ...

While yes, I agree the wheels/tails are shit, the paint is immacculate as far as I can see from the pictures and doesn't look like primer at all, unless you've seen custom mixed burgundy primer before. Have you ever even seen bondo? If the car were, as you say "painted with bondo/body filler", I'd commend whoever did the work because it came out fantastic. And yeah, theres probably heaps of it on the car to smooth everything, but painted? c'mon dude...

So aside from the wheels/tails (which are probably the two easiest things to change on the entire car), this car is sweetness
