guys id like to get a short shifter... Is the audi short shifter just as good as any other? or should i go with straight aftermarket? what kind do you guys have?

i have b&m....I LOVEEE IT altho summertime heat during the day heats that bad boy up pretty hot since its all aluminum

What'd you find out when you searched? What information that you found while searching do you have questions about? The more detailed you can be the more detailed we can be.

The Audi is OEM, so the throw isn't as short as the aftermarket ones.
Get either Dieselgeek, B&M, or Audi. Don't fall for the Neuspeed or Autotech ones... they're just variations on the Audi one.
Just remember, shorter throw does not mean a lighter flywheel. ;)

i have the b&m and have driven the diesel geek, honestly not much difference but from what i've read, the dieselgeek is A LOT easier to install although the b&m isn't too hard itself ;)
