I'd check at the Apple store. My boss was just showing off to me how he got a laptop from the Apple store for under a grand. I'm not sure what the specs were. There's one in UTC and Fashion.

If you are a student or teacher or know one you can get an educational discount through Apple.

I think the Apple store is located in Pasadena...by the way, I used to be a big fan of PC. It was PC or nothing at all but now i'm hooked on Apple...just so much more reliable

apples are the best! (im kind of biased as i type this on my ibook right now) This is the 2nd apple i have owned. it was weird at first making the transition from pc to mac, but they just make more sense and they are designed with the customer in mind. P.S, if anyone wants to buy my old mac g4 tower let me know. i'll let it go for like 200 dollars with software. oh, and i bought both of my computers at comp usa because you can get good deals there. but i would check frys electronics in anaheim.

Get a mac. Best place? apple store education. If you are not a student, try a computer store online that is not based out of California so you have no sales tax. (Get apple care for every laptop you buy)
