there's a drive-thru store you can buy liquor at in lakewood. Although you have to physically get out of the car and the guy has to hand it to you to be legal.
it's funny because the beer ads are the largest ones outside the store.

LOL, been there, done that. That liquor store is in Littleton, CO and has been there since I can remember. A few problems with alcohol in CO... Liquor stores are all closed on Sundays, and grocery stores can only sell crappy 3.2% beer. Holdover from when you only needed to be 18 to buy 3.2 beer, wine coolers, etc.

There's a drive-thru market in Costa Mesa that you can get beers at...
And if you ever make it to New Orleans you can always hit the drive-thru daquiri stands. They have like 20 slushee machines that dispense powerful road cocktails in a styrofoam cup with a straw...or you can get a gallon to go...

There were a bunch of these in oHIo... they didn't look quite like this though. Imagine driving right through a 7-11 complete with racks of chips and everything.

There's one of these in Gardena, and another over near Watts also.

ROFL..
Ya'll need to visit louisiana. Drive through liquor stores and daquari shops on every major intersection! Whee!
(They leave the paper on the end of the straw so it isn't an "open container".)
