8,000k Deep Blue do not look ricey.

Personally, I prefer the 8000k deep blue color myself because everything looks so much prettier when its lit up, similar to effect of metal halides in salt water coral reef tanks.Driving visability is not affected by color.
4300k matches natural sunlight and but is too common. if you haven't experienced driving a HID equipped vehicle, you're missing out on way too much night time driving enjoyment.

and i know what you mean by the ricey blue look but trust me these do not produce that cheap looking affect.

the 10,000k is actually violet purple :P
looks nice.

I've seen 10k on a E46 M3, and its not pretty, its pretty ricey blue looking

im sure reflective material is just glowing with that, but i think ideal driving is 5400-6000 ... if you want the nice look, 8k is nice though

i guess some other kits make it blue...

most people go with the deep blue though

8,000k

I use to have 10,000k HID's and they did not look that purple... They were bright as hell too. Sure 4300k is the brightest but going with 10,000k doesn't mean you won't be able to see. Now that I have projectors, I have 6000k and like them

10000k is pretty intense, and I imagine the heat it projects is too. Will these melt the cover on you headlights? I'm not too familiar, that's why I'm asking.

No, actually, 10,000k run cooler than 4300k. Just because they are higher up in the kalvin scale doesn't mean they run hotter. I remember someone having problems with 4300k HID's ruining his stock housing. It didn't melt it, he just started having spots on his reflectors. I never had a problem with my 10,000k ones. Either way, HID's run a lot cooler than halogens.

this is just the kit right? so for an E36 you would still have to buy new headlight units to install this?

My friend has these on his datsun.
Light output isn't the best (because it's 10,000) But it looks
really flashy. It's almost like black-light.

My 5.3k Distroy and can be seen for miles! :)
They're alittle ricey (slight tint of blue) but not a cop mag. like the 6000-1200k are.

exactly

yes, this just the HID kit

also they retrofit all cars, SUVs, Trucks, and motorcycles.

so you would not have to buy new headlight units, but it is recomended that you run HIDs with projectors.

plus they are just plug an play takes from 1 hours to 5 minutes depending on the experience you have with installing HIDs.

trust me and BanamexDF
HIDs are waaaaaaaayyyyyyy cooler than your stock halogens.
