525i tranny work in LBC

Hey my father-in-law has a 90's 525i auto and the transmission is starting have some troubles. Can anyone suggest a reliable and well priced shop in the Long Beach area that could take a look at the tranny and possibly replace it?

They usually get a fault for speed monitoring, F.C. 100, which means that the gear box measures the speed going into it, and out, and if the box is slipping, it sets that fault, very common and the gearbox needs to be replaced. Funny I have one here right now for that. Dealer is a little pricey, but the box is warrantied for 2 years.

The other common problem on the m20 E34's is a throttle position switch which can cause a problem with shifting.
